BarnYard Performance came to me with an established reputation in the motorsports community and a well-recognized “Punisher-style” skull icon they’d been using for years. What they didn’t have was a cohesive, professional brand identity to match their growing presence as both a full-service motorsports garage and competitive racing team.

The goal was clear: keep the grit, keep the attitude — but elevate everything else.

The identity needed to:

Integrate their existing skull mark into a cleaner, more intentional logo

Modernized Primary Logo

At the heart of the redesign is a bold, custom wordmark built with strong angles and forward-moving geometry — a visual nod to acceleration, performance, and mechanical precision. The interlocking layout and stacked “BarnYard” structure give the brand a distinctive silhouette that stands out at high speeds and long distances.

Skull Integration

Rather than dropping the old skull or forcing it into a corner, I refined and reintegrated it as a true part of the logo system. The updated skull sits confidently within the lockup, acting as a recognizable emblem that BarnYard fans and customers already associate with the brand’s identity and racing heritage.

High-Energy Color System

BarnYard Performance’s signature blue and yellow were kept at the forefront, but reworked for stronger contrast, visibility, and modern appeal. The palette is intentionally loud and energetic — perfect for racing graphics, apparel, and promotional materials.

With dark outlines and white accents, the logo holds up across every background, from dirt tracks and pit banners to digital media and vinyl decals.
